Camelback Mountain is the landmark icon of the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. Named after a giant Camel, the Mountain sits in the middle of urban Phoenix as if standing guard over the Valley of the Sun. It attracts 300,000 hikers each year that climb 2,700 feet to its summit rewarding those that reach the top with astounding views of Phoenix.
